Chili (with Beef)

  • Chili (1P, 2V)

    ground sirloin (amount according to plan)
    5 green onions
    1 clove garlic
    1 tsp chili powder
    1/4 tsp morton's lite salt
    1/4 tsp ground cumin
    1/4 tsp dried oregano
    dash red pepper sauce (optional)
    1 small tomato, chopped
    1 cu very low sodium beef broth

    brown beef along with onion and garlic. Drain
    Stir in remaining ingredients, bring to a boil; reduce heat
    simmer covered until tomatoes are tender.

    The recipe says to use a dutch oven, but I think it would be too big for one serving. . .
