Military Diet?

Hi all...

Been lurking and finally want to post about this diet. I had been struggling with my weight and was trying to do low/zero carbs this summer...but failed till I found Military diet plan!! It's a strict 1200 calorie set menu method that you follow for every 3 days..

I had started this on Saturday and lost 5 pounds so far!! Have more to go and am loving this method. I shall continue!!

Anyone else doing this?? Thank you for sharing..

Liliann :)

Tried that military diet and didn't have too much success.

I'm not familiar with it, but the best diet is the one that works for YOU, and that's all that matters. It sounds like you're on board with the plan. I'll have to look it up.

What do you like best about it? The structure?

Lost another lb....so happy!!! 🤗

Hmm I personally didn't try this one. However, I think I have a friend who is doing something similar...She did lose like 15 pounds, but she is always tired nowadays.

How are you feeling on it? Do you have enough energy?

The big question is can you see doing it for the rest of your life? If not, what changes are/will you implement once you leave this plan? I'm all for doing something to kick start weight loss but just be realistic with yourself about how long you can do this plan and what additional changes you need to make to transition away from it. Otherwise I think research says there's like a 90%+ chance that you'll gain the weight back plus more.

Enjoy the success and structure but also start making the little life long changes that will help you keep the weight off.

I'm back up after losing 50ish pounds because I didn't make those changes so just don't be me!

Sounds so good! But I am afraid it is too strict, so it is easy to give up
