Thanks. I do try to stick to eating meals and no snacking. Honestly the advice to eat a small meal every couple of hours was disasterous for me for years! I know some people can live this way but as someone who used to suffer with binge eating the worst thing was being a little bit hungry all day, and constantly planning out my next snack/meal. All advice to plan plan plan has been bad in the long run. It makes me obsessive and I don't even want to hear the word accountability anymore.

I held off my first meal of the day until 2pm today, that's 7hrs of no food in the morning and I'm going to do my best to take my last bite by 10pm even if we're out with friends.

Is anyone still fasting?
Right now I am mostly doing keto OMAD.
After the holidays I want to do a few 2 to 3 days fasts, at least 2 in January.
Does anyone else plan to do more fasting after the holidays?

After doing considerably well over the holidays, today I am fasting and just seeing how long I can go. When I am feeling real hunger I will eat some bacon and scrambled eggs. Hopefully sometime tomorrow.

I'm so glad I found this thread!

I started OMAD on 2-Jan-2018!!!

I lost some weight... it's been slow and steady for me.

I’ve been doing OMAD for a while, and found it is the best approach for me.

I'm fasting one day a week currently.
Thirty six hours on water / herbal tea (zero calories) from evening meal on the first day, through the next day, until breakfast on the third day.
I like it, it leaves me feeling mentally sparky.
I find if I don't start eating, the hunger kind of stays in the background. It's there, but not as powerfully as it would be if I ate breakfast or snacked on a piece of fruit or something.
Hoping it helps to reduce my cholesterol readings.

I did a three day fast back at the end of last year. It left me feeling amazingly mentally refreshed. Will do another three day fast on my next work holiday. I don't like to work and fast at the same time.

You can do it! Think of how good it will make you feel to accomplish your goal!

Right now I can only manage OMAD. I hope this week to do a 36 hr fast.
