Belly and thighs are the first areas where I notice. The tattoo on my hip is kind of folded, as part of it is on the lower part of the belly where it hangs. The more I can see of the tattoo, the better I have been doing and also, pants seem to be able to just fall off without effort, completely out of the blue.

Bony parts and boobs, unfortunately. Then the muffin top and overall hip area. This time is a little different because people usually tell me they notice it in my face, and not so much this time. I finally started noticing a difference in my back fat and gut, but the leg and arm fat is always the last to go. I don't know why, but my genetics have deemed my pendulous bat wings and saddle bags crucial to survival.

I notice the weight loss in the same places I first notice the weight gain: face, and the 3Bs: back, belly, boobs.

Default My Hips got smaller first!

Just started losing weight (again!) a few months ago & after losing 9 pounds in 8 weeks, was surprised to see that the bulges on the side of my hips almost disappeared!

Never thought I'd see a reduction in my hips so quickly especially since my hips are so wide-- they're always 12 inches bigger than my waist no matter what I weigh! But looking back, seems like my hip bulges were the last to appear when I gained 25 lbs during the past 2 years (last to appear/first to disappear?)

It was great seeing such a fast improvement-- my clothes fit so much better once those hip bulges went away. It gave me great motivation to continue with exercise & healthy eating.

I noticed it first around my belly- my little spare tire was shrinking. Other people said they noticed it first in my face.

Hmm, interesting question. I think my stomach, because I've been taking progress pictures every 5 lbs I lost and I noticed it shrinking considerably. The next thing I noticed was probably my face, I used to cringe at all the awful double chin shots of me but after some weight loss that happened less often.
