daizy hotrocks Sounds like you're off to a good start after seeing the doc. That's really a shame about the bc - hopefully you can keep it and maybe just take some supplements? My mom has had big problems with Vitamin D deficient but takes a once-a-month pill now that is the only thing that has helped. Good luck! Birth control is such a wonderful thing, but damn those side effects!!!
The weight loss industry really is overwhelming... When I decided to focus on losing weight (Jan. 2013), I didn't really make a plan for myself and didn't know where to start. I spent the next 7 months making little changes, working out, and reading. A LOT. I eventually settled on a plan that's been working for me since last August, but I continually modify it. I think once you get started you'll see what's working and what's not. And if you stick around on 3FC, you'll learn a lot too that you might want to incorporate into your lifestyle.
