Default Some questions about Curves for Women....

Someone on another site I go to mentioned that the curves diet is low carbs. I am wondering if there is any where online where it says what kinds of foods are allowed and what aren't.
Also has anyone read the book "Curves: Permanent Results Without Permanent Dieting" by Gary Heavin? Did you find it helpful? Does it explain the Curves Diet/Plan in the book?

Does one need to join Curves to learn about the diet?

Any additional info you have would be great. Thanx for your help.

HI, I have the Curves book right here actually, and it has 2 different plans, one is Carb restricted, and the other is low Calorie. The book has some good information. If you would like, email me, and I can send the info to you

I'm in Day 2 of following the Curves low-carb diet. I like it because of all the sample menus (and even food-shopping lists for them) it provides. And if the menu for the day includes something I don't care for, it's easy to switch it to something else with the same amount of calories and carbs.

The book gets a little long-winded at times (especially when the author is talking about himself!) but provides plenty of information including the Curves At-Home version of the exercises we do at the Curves Center. Very detailed explanations and, as I said, lots of information.

I guess it's a little early in "my program" to tell you how well it works. I'll have to let you know...

PM me if you want to chat!
