Good for you! Glad you are finding solutions. I agree that staying under 1800 calories is a far more realistic approach... at 1200 not only would you likely be harming your body but it would be very difficult to maintain. You don't have to go around feeling starved to lose weight.

And I too would get a new doctor! I cannot imagine a doctor actually telling you to go on a 600 calorie a day diet!! Especially with a "shake" meaning no fresh fruits and veggies. You were wise to say "no."

Just wanted you to know that I am very inspired by your S/C/G stats. It looks like you've already made some serious progress!

I have! Once I added some more protein and got rid of the packaged lunches in favor of some shredded chicken breast and tuna fish, the weight started to literally fall off!

if you still feel your stuck you could try switching up the exercise like walk outside instead of on the treadmill or jumping rope, dancing just the change may help

Now a typical day is looking like this:
breakfast: coffee with 2 tbsp fat free half and half
hard boiled egg
apple 1/2 banana

lunch: shredded chicken breast in a pita with three outer leaves of green leaf lettuce, two slices of tomato, and 4 slices of cucumber with 1/2 tablespoon of sabra cucumber dill yogurt dip

dinner: tilapia/salmon/chicken/shrimp/bison steak (I despise turkey.) 1 yukon gold potato, or 1/2 cup of brown rice or whole wheat couscous, raw carrots, raw broccoli, raw snow peas, or lightly steamed brussels sprouts/haricot vertes

snacks are apples, fresh blueberries and blackberries and strawberries, fresh pineapple, seedless red and black grapes, light babybel cheese or hummus and carrot sticks or celery.
