Scale Obsessed
okay, am i the only one that weights themselved multiple times a day?
once in the morning, and many times at night. do you find that you loose a certain amount as you sleep? so today i have "gained" about 4lbs, i have eat normal but have started to drink ALOT more water!! i am on my 4th 32oz nalgene bottle. im not worried, but typically i know i will lose weight if i gain no more then 2lbs during the day cuase i loose about 3lbs overnight.. Do you find you gain a certain amount during the day? |
SO it doesnt matter what you gain during the day
|
I gain and lose over the course of the day. If I'm up more than 2 pounds at night, then I know they'll be gone the next day unless I overate or had a really salty meal. I also know I'll wake up early and really need to pee. :p I'm usually up about 1-2lbs at night vs the next morning though.
It doesn't matter what I gain during the day as long as it's from drinking a lot of water or eating a lot of low calorie, high fibre veggies. If it's from too much food or alcohol, then it takes a few days of being on plan for it to go way. |
My scale is my best and worst freind!!! maybe like a frien-enmy??
it tells me I'm skinner one moment and fatter the next!!! how dare it! i havent eaten alot of salty food (except for my wonderful lettuce wrapped tacos!! |
I am almost like that. I weigh every morning before fretting dressed. They say once a week... But I just can't do it. Lol
|
I make a point of weighing myself once a day; generally in the morning, after relieving myself but before getting dressed.
A daily baseline weight helps me chart my weight loss, and is also an incentive to not binge late at night - anything I eat -will- show up on the scale in the morning. |
I weigh myself many times a day, but only record one weight - the one in the morning. The other weigh-ins are an attempt to understand where the number the next day comes from. ie: if I go running does my weight fluctuate? How much? How much from eating? How much after pooping? Stuff like that.

I do this too. I find I weigh about 2 pounds more before I go to bed than I do in the morning. During the day I can be around 5 pounds higher than in the morning due to clothes, food and drink.

I weigh myself every Saturday morning.
