headaches and atkins
Third day on atkins, 3 pounds down but horrible horrible ice pick headaches in my temples. Anyone else have this? Is it normal? It was so bad last night it forced me to stop my cardio and my trainer was not happy, but understood. Still have the headache nothing helps...any suggestions?

Some people experience what is referred to as "Atkins flu". Drinking a cup of chicken broth is recommended and I've read it helps.
There is a specific Atkins section on this forum, you may want to consider posting your questions there:) Edited to add: NOT low sodium broth. It is suggested you drink 1 cup in the morning & another in the afternoon. |
