Self-Hypnosis for Weight Loss

Has anyone tried it? the first time I did it (about 4 years ago) I lost 15 lbs without noticing, I just simply stopped eating as much and started enjoying exercise. I wasn't on any diet plan. Now I'm back where I started becuase I gained a lot of weight in college and I've tried the same hypnosis but it hasn't had the same effect. Not sure why. The one I tried that time was Losing Weight when Diets Fail.
I'm trying out different ones. Anyone's got any good one's they've tried?
Today, I tried out a different one, which was almost an hour and half long and you're supposed to listen to it before sleeping (yeah I didn't go to sleep after, I work nights and after work I just wanna crash, not listen to an audio for 1.5 hours lol) We'll see how this one works. The one I listened to today was by Steve G. Jones Weight Loss I Platinum. And no, I dind't pay the ridiculous $80 for that, they had a Black Friday sale and I got each recording for $1 (I got 3 weight loss related recordings and some other ones for other stuff)

Thoughts?

I have used self-hypnosis for other things in the past and they have worked for me, so last night I started using one to help me lose weight as well. The one that I am trying right now is The Self-Hypnosis Diet by Steven Gurgevich. Not sure how it will work because I've never used any of his stuff before.

What I do is put what I am listening to on my ipod or kindle and when I lay down to go to sleep I just put headphones on and listen to it and I must say they knock me right out. But I have listened to some that keep me awake and those are the ones I don't stick with and that don't work for me.

What I like about the one I am listening to right now is that it first goes through and explains that it is okay to fall alseep while listen to it and why it is.

I've tried one before. It made me more aware of what I was eating, and I found it so much easier to avoid bad foods. I only did it for a few weeks, though. I'm too lazy to do it.

I think I might start again. I just got back onto the diet and exercise wagon, so hopefully it will help motivate me even more
