Yeah...people tend to watch that documentary, get excited, and then decide to live off of juice because of Joe's weightloss. Just be cautious and talk to a doctor before doing that.

Check out the PDFs on his site for different length fasts, within those PDFs are recipes for soups and salads, I think adding in more veg, less processed foods is a good thing.

We've juiced off and on, sometimes just do a fruit and veggie day. As Maui said consult your dr. as Joe did, unless you have extreme issues like he did you probably don't need to be as extreme as he was.

Best of luck to you whatever you decide to do

Default Juice diet / Juicing diet

Hi All

Has anyone done the juicing diet that Joe follow on Sick Fat and Nearly Dead.

Im 29 and currently weigh 13st at 5'5
Have an inner ear issue - labyrinthitis which Im on medication for.
My diet hasn't been the best for the last year due to vertigo and nausea

so Im considering taking up the juice fast for a short span - maybe a week or ten days to mainly give my body the nutrients boost I think its been lacking.

Has anyone ever tried the juicing diet?
Did you find it easy? or beneficial health wise?

Im not so much after it for the weight loss (it would be a bonus but its not primarily why I'm doing it)

Thanks lovely

I plan on starting this week but am going to get some prep work done first.

I'm hoping to go and do a big shop and get a load of the veg that I will need in first.
I have heard that you can substitute the kale for broccoli so I plan on trying this as I am not a fan of Kale but I will have this as a main drink.

Also I have seen that apple, carrot and celery are good for anxiety so I plan on trying that one too since I have had anxiety since I was 15.
