Sugar withdrawal headache
 

Sorry if this has been posted before everyone, but this is driving me insane!

I have been off all added sugar for a week now and for the past 5 days I have had a continuous headache. It is like a low backgroud throb that is driving me absolutely crazy :eek:

Has anyone had any similar experiences? How long did it last?

ive had that before..it took about 4 days to clear up..its just a withdrawl thing..it WILL get better..just drink lots of water..i also heard 1/2 tsp of sea salt in an 8 ounce glass of water helps clear it in about 10 minutes or so im told..havent tried it yet..but other say it works..

In doing south beach, we make sure to have beans and dairy to help out with the headache. Good luck!

I haven't experienced this since I gave up soda a few years ago, but I remember it lasted about two days. It was scary, to think I was experiencing withdrawls from something seemingly harmless! Good luck on your quest.
