Calorie Intake
After doing the Weight Watchers Points Plus program I decided to try calorie counting. The new Points Plus program was much different thant their original and I found I wasn't losing much weight at all. Their previous program was much more successful.
I'm new to calorie counting. My biggest question is how many calories I should be taking in each day to function properly, not what my deficit should be. Anyone know of any calculators for this? Most I found just calculate the deficit. In addition to calorie counting I intend to complete one hour of 'sweaty' exercise each day. I have a Gazelle Edge, and believe it or not...that thing gives you quite a work out! haha But I need to learn about calorie counting and what my goal SHOULD be! Safety is my overall concern.:) |
I started calorie counting almost 3 weeks ago, was doing WW for the last year and a half. The first week or so was a bit of getting used to but I really love it now. I use Fitday.com, they calculated all that info for me. Check it out and good luck!

I use the web site sparkpeople they have a weight and food tracker and it is free and they have an app for your phone. Pretty nice sight.

Thanks. I started the FitDay yesterday. Wow! I love how they break everything down. I think it will be a big help! I just wish it let you add the vitamins you take each day. Or did I miss that section?
