Counting water....?

  • So we all know that drinking lots of water helps with weightloss, and general health but I HATE plain water. I find I can drink tons of water with drink mixes though. My go to drink is a huge glass of water with 1 5 cal pack of drink mix and 1 Sweet N Low. Would you count this as a serving of water, even though Im adding artificial sweetners? I mean Im still getting the water intake, right?

    Just looking for some input/thoughts on this!
  • People disagree, but the most recent science says "yes, it all counts." Even caffeinated beverages count (they're not nearly as dehydrating as commonly thought).

    If you search on "water myths," you'll find a lot of discussion on the subject (not everyone agrees that these myths are untrue - but using those words in the search, you'll find discussions with people weighing in on both sides of the argument).
  • I wouldn't count it for myself but I'd say it's definitely better than you getting little to no water if you hate plain water that much.
