AnyOne On Atkins?

Ive never tried it myself nor know much about it.
I am interested to know more about it and what it entails and if anyone has followed it ...im thinking of buying the book and maybe have a try.

hey lucky8.....there is an Atkiins thread here that has a lot of good info! It's best to buy the book first and go from there. I have been doing low carb for the past week and have lost 9 pounds :) I did this years ago and lost 40 pounds. It does work and there are many great low-carb recipes...even for desserts! I hope you will check out the info here on the Atkins thread! :)

In April, I'll be celebrating 6 years on Atkins:)
If you're interested in the plan, the best advice I can give you is to read Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution (2002 or prior version) and also Gary Taubes Good Calories Bad Calories to understand the concept of the low carb lifestyle. Feel free to join us over on the Atkins board:)
