It sounds like you are adjusting to the FFP very well. I haven't had a chance to look at the recipes yet, but I will later today. Thanks for the heads up.

I had to run errands today so I took a bottle of cranwater and a sliced apple with me. I think I need to get more fiber right now: it might help. I couldn't find the Super GI Cleanse caps that are mentioned in the book and at iVillage. I even checked the health food store. But I did get some psyllium husk tablets and some magnesium tabs.
I just got home and am eating a salad. This is difficult for me to eat without salad dressing. I put on flax seed oil and lemon juice, some Mrs Dash and flax seeds. But I also put just a few drops of a pesto dressing to help transition me. It was only about a teaspoon (2 tablespoons =2gms carbs) so it's not too bad. I'm sure that with time I will get better.

I only work 2 days a week, and I've always taken my days worth of food with me because I usually don't get time to leave the unit to eat. So as long as I'm prepared, I will be just fine.

I usually don't get a chance to post during the weekend, but I'll try.

my dressing-
flax seed oil
apple cider vinegar
stevia +
mustard powder
chopped garlic
and any other aromatic herbs that look appealing.
I whir it all in a blender starting on low speed with the oil and adding bit by bit, to get an emulsion (thickening of oil to traditional salad dressing consistency)
It reminds me of honey mustard a little.

It does not stay thick forever though , it separates after a few hours (no stabillizers)so I make it once a day.

I'll be busy this weekend too, so we'll catch up on Monday, Though I may post my loss tomorrow !

Thanks, I'll give it try tonight on my salad.

Down 3.5 more pounds for a total of almost 13 pounds in 14 days.
I'm getting a massage as a reward/treat tomorrow.

My waist is down 2 inches which I find so amazingly great I can't tell you.

16s are feeling loose!

Just 38 more pounds to goal!

Great thread, I'm encouraged by your progress!

It's been a long time but I'm writing in my planner that I need to go out and get this book and start thinking about WHEN I want to do a two-week or possibly even four-week plan.

Anyway, I'll drop by again. Thanks for sharing this information.

If a person switched from Atkins plan to Fat Flush, would they go out of ketosis? I seem to spend all my time and energy trying to stay IN ketosis on Atkins. Don't the fruit and cran juice trigger carb cravings?
When you have this oil, do you just have it by the spoonful? Isn't that kind of gross?

Linda, Meet us over at the thread called "Fat Flush Plan~Week of 8/12" OK? This is an old thread and you might not get any answers over here.
