Medically supervised Liquid Diet?

Anyone else have good results with the liquid diet or Optifast? I am going on a program very similiar to Optifast starting 4/22/02. I feel it's necessary for me to do something since my BMI is 60! I've tried everything in the last 23 years but the Weight-loss Surgery.
