Yes, my son was on concerta for ADHD. He tolerated it quite well until we decided to up his dose, I belive he was on 20mg and we were going to try 27mg. His behavior changed drastically, he was emotionally withdrawn and we didn't like the side effects one bit. He wasn't his normal lovable child. We've since changed to Adderall XR.

My son was on it & preferred Adderall. I personally could not take Concerta because it made me queasy - however, I also know people whose children have done very well with it. The upside of Concerta according to the doctor we see is that it addresses the depression issues that often go hand in hand with ADHD.
