Angry Stupid zits

I'm at the tail end of my period (actually it's been done for a few days now) and I've still got two pimples on my face that look HORRIBLE. I think I've tried every zit medication on the market and not a dang one of them works for me.

Are there any home remedies that work to dry these things up?

Well, it's not a home remedy, but my daughter swears by a thing called Persa Gel. I think it may be an Oxy thing or maybe Clean and Clear.

Thanks for the suggestions

Normally my complexion is very clear. But at that time of the month, one or two pimples like to surface and sometimes I have them for a week or more.

I use desitin for mine. It gets rid of the redness and dries the pimple out.

Don't pick - almost impossible I know!
If you have to pop it use 2 cotton swabs to pop it instead of your fingers -using your fingers forces bacteria from them into your skin making it worse.
I have started using a little astringent with salicylic acid in it. A little bit on a cotton swab dabbed onto the pimple a couple of times a day, and it really has helped - I have/had 8 on my chin last week all at the same time.
I read that if you mess around with a zit it will last 7 to 10 days - if you leave it alone most of them go away in 3. Grrrrr it is so hard not to mess with them though.
Hope they go away soon and that this might help

Toothpaste!!!! Plain white toothpaste! Put a little on your pimple before bed, and leave it, in the morning the redness and inflammation will be gone, and it will go away within a day...I've done it, and it works!

I know of toothpaste. It also works for minor skin burns (cooling plus healing)

Ive had acne problem for a long long time...paid lots to dermatologists but no success. Then I tried a series of three acne facials and it worked just wonders for me. They did chemical peel and microdermabrasion and what not.... but I have no skin problems anymore. I use a alcohol based toner veery morning followed by a vit E cream they gave me and it surely keeps zits away!

Well right now I've got aspirin paste stuck to my face and I might try the toothpaste overnight, lol!

Only thing is I don't have plain white toothpaste, I've got Aquafresh.
