Anything by Terry Pratchett - his books are hysterical!

I read Memoirs too - loved it.

Also read Lovely Bones and enjoyed that one too.

YES. OMG! YALL HAVE TO CHECK OUT THIS AUTHORS BOOKS. THEY ARE SOOOOO GOOD. They are books just for women. The author is Victoria Christopher Murray. I just read her latest book last month called A Sin and A Shame and it's absolutely amazing. It was my first book by this author and now I'm reading another book written by her called Grown Folks Business It's really really good so far. Grabbed me from the first page.

Diane Mott Davidson does a great caterer/mystery series if you have an inner cook in you. And there was one book with all lowfat recipes - tied into the plot. They're really good, and the recipes are great for food inspiration.

For funny, try Janet Evanovich - the number series (one for the money is the first one - ten big ones is the last one I've read). Its a bounty hunter mystery series, but OH MY WORD are they funny. Very rarely does a book make me laugh at loud, but these never fail to. And they're very edge-of-your-seat kind of mysteries as well. I love them.

Patricia Cornwell is always good, too, and the letter series by Sue Grafton (A is for Alibi, R is for Ricochet, etc) are good mysterious page turners as well.

loves Janet Evaovich bounty hunter books .. a friends mom loaned me one and am totally hooked... would of never remembered the author tho lol

I just read The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon by Stephen King. This book incorporates baseball, which i like, even if im not a Red Sox fan. Now I'm reading The Shining, also by Stephen King (duh)

I also just bought a 12 Johanna Lindsay books. (Historical Romance) I'm a sucker for a good romance, and Johanna Lindsay is really good.

Memoirs of a Geisha is also EXTREMELY good. Much better than the movie. but of course, all books are better than the movies. lol. I mean, in Gone With the Wind, the movie, they left out 2 of her children!! How can you leave out Scarlett's kids? Thats just crazy.

Gone with the Wind is my all-time favorite book.
