Hi. Was wondering if any people other than me write stories in their free time. I write action/drama stories a lot, and i hope to one day get a book published. I currently have writers block! If you enjoy to write and are working on anything currently or have written in the past, post back and let me know. I enjoy hearing about what people write about. I am finishing my first novel. It is a suspense story, about 70,000 words. About a midwife (gee, who would have thought?). I just need more time in the day (and night!).

I am writing my first book. It is about my childhood and over-coming incredible odds, finishing college and my life as an RN.

I love to write, English and Art were always my best subjects - I love to write, draw and read. I would love to write a book about my childhood (might pose as some sort of therapy for myself) however I've blocked alot of it out so that would be hard to do lol I'm also into fantasy so thats mostly what I like to draw so if I were to write short stories I think writing some fantasy would be neat, because you can pretty much do anything you want. I would love to get a novel published but I dont think I could write that much lol or write something good enough to be published

Aspiring writer here as well....Romance for me....I have 2 started 3 chapters for one and 6 for another but haven't added much to them lately. My friends are mad because after each chapter I usually send them the latest but its been a while haha....My ultimate dream is to go back to school and maybe take some creative writing classes and english classes and history classes to refine myself. I REALLLLY want to write a story that makes someone smile and enjoy a few hours of their life...Books have been my escape so many times in my life that i want to give a bit of that back.

I also love to write, although I admit I haven't in a long while. I want to someday write a Children's Book. I also love to draw, even though I'm not that good at it! lol.

I have a children's story I would like to write and get published. It is a very cute story which is better told than written(at least I think so.) I have made notes and scribbles and all sorts of stuff but can't seem to get it to come out right on paper...But like I said before...if you give me an audience of children, I can bet that you will hear a pin drop. Now what should I do about that? LOL. I guess just keep telling it, huh? lol

Maybe you should use a tape recorder or video tape yourself while telling the story to help you write it?

Maybe I could tell it to you, you can write it and we can just split the profits? What do you think? lol....I guess It could just be an audio book, huh? Thanks for your advice!

I write too. I had a short story published in Big Beautiful Woman (no longer in print). It was basically a Cinderella on a diet story. I was paid $100, and still have a laminated copy of the check posted near my computer. That was fourteen years ago. I've started three novels since, but have a hard time getting past the third chapter.

Ummmm, I write fanfics. Or maybe I should say, I USED to write fanfics. I started a GH fanfic but am having a hard time adding to it. Writer's block.
