Okay - I like to think I'm relatively internet savvy... but can someone please explain to me what DH, DD, and DS stand for? I understand people are talking about their husbands and kids, but I'm at a loss as to what those letters could be abbreviations for. If anyone can shed light on this i'd appreciate it!

The D usually stands for darling or dear. The latter is husband, son, daughter, etc.

I'd say most of us don't really refer to our husbands as darling or dear, but it flows nicely.
