Hey sweetie I know alot of this has been said before, But It is there for a reason and you pay into it (taxes out of your check) I think you need to do it. and WIC as well. I have been on both WiC and on food stamps before when my husband and I separated for a while, It really irritates me the stigma on these things. It by NO means makes you trash, lazy, or any of the other things that people say. It is totally hard to make ends meet in this world today for anyone! let alone a young family starting out. You go to that office apply and see what they can do for you and hold your head high and don't give it a second thought. Keep it private if you want. I would totally ask about child care assist for sure because even if you don't Qualify for free day care they can help you pay for portions of it to releive you there too. Please don't feel bad about it. We all pay for this type things in our taxes so think of it as.. all that time you have worked you were putting cash aside in a savings account that now you have to use!
