Name for tummy fat
 

Did you know that there is actually a name for the tummy fat, below the belly button that hangs! Medically, it is know as a 'Panis'. I'm sure there are other slang terms for it...what do you call yours..?

My husband and his friends call it the FUPA, but I HATE THAT!

(It means Fat Upper P...lets just say Private Area)

That's so funny that you mentioned FUPA...our local radio station made up a song to the tune of "don't cha" (by the kitty cat dolls). It goes somthing like "don't cha wish your girlfriend had a FUPA like me....

But you can't forget the love handles which I lovingly refer to as my "jelly rolls".

I call mine my apron many times. I call it all sorts of names to rival sailors when I'm jogging and it's flapping against my legs :devil:

I call mine my "FATTIE STOMACH" :( I hate it, can't wait to lose it!

I call mine my spare tire.

My dh calls it my bouncy castle. Since I started losing weight it's become very loose and jelly like, which I guess it's good as it's going, but it's really annoying!!!!!

I call mine Pooch or Gut.

My husband calls mine his fluffy pillow. Since he likes to lay on my lap and watch T.V. I'm hoping that soon he'll have to get a real pillow.

FUPA!!! GRRRRRRRRRR HATE IT! This is the 1st time I've heard the term! I think it's very degrading. IMO

Im with the majority "pooch" or "my fat pooch" depending on who I am talking to...lol

FLARD but that goes for all over general squishy bits! (It's a cross between flab and lard FYI!)

I usually reffer to it as "chub", to which my husband will reffer to it as a minnow -- a chub is a type of minnow I guess-

I agree that FUPA is a quite insulting term.

I've decided to use the stray cat principle on mine - it's bad enough that I feed it, but if I give it a name it'll never leave. :lol:
