Media

Media is changing fast—between streaming platforms, social media, and traditional outlets, it’s hard to keep up. What platforms do you trust the most for news or entertainment? Have you noticed a shift in how content is being delivered or consumed? Do you still watch cable TV or rely mostly on YouTube, podcasts, or TikTok? Also, how do you feel about media bias and the reliability of different sources? Share your thoughts or experiences—curious to hear what others think about the current media landscape and what’s working (or not) for you.

I’ve pretty much ditched cable—most of my news and entertainment comes from YouTube, podcasts, and some Substack newsletters. I do use Twitter/X to keep an eye on breaking stories, but I always double-check sources because bias is everywhere now. It feels like we have more access than ever, but also more confusion. I miss when media felt a bit more neutral, but maybe that was just the illusion. Lately, I’ve been turning to acorn tv for a break from all the noise—some of their British and international shows are a refreshing change of pace. If you’re into slower-paced, story-driven content, definitely contact Acorn TV or check out what they offer. It’s been a nice way to unwind and still feel engaged.
