Favorite Thing About Fall
 

I decided to start this thread because I saw on other threads how many LOVE Fall, like me. :D

My favorite thing about Fall is the cooler temperature, the leaves changing color, the smell of burning leaves, apple cider, a nice fire burning in the fireplace, the smell of cinnamon/apple candles burning, being able to wear sweaters and tights :D, going to cider mills, Thanksgiving and knowing Christmas is right around the corner. LOL That about sums it up!

What is your favorite thing about Fall?

Cool nights when I can snuggle under extra quilts. Long-cooking foods like chili sauce and stews that scent the house. Snuggling into my warm robe and lighting the stove in the backroom for cool mornings or evenings.

All of the above plus Halloween!! Watching spooky movies, going hiking amidst the beautify changing leaves, wearing my light jackets and boots, being outside without feeling too hot or too cold, the beautiful harvest foods like squashes and mushrooms and corn.

And of course I love pumpkin spice EVeRYTHING!

For me, it's the feeling I get. It's hard to explain, really, but basically it feels so calm and cozy... the colors of the nature, a cup of tea while sitting under a blanket, the quiet streets in the dark and so on. Also, football and new episodes of favorite shows :)

The cooler weather. I love cold weather and I absolutely cannot stand hotter weather. All the clothes I can still fit are winter wear and my cutest outfits revolve around sweaters. That and cinnamon. Cinnamon rolls are probably my biggest weakness. I also love that I can eat potato soup because potato soup and chowders are so not a summer and spring thing.

I love how the changing color of the leaves and of course the cool weather.

I love fall for the colors. I live in the mountains and in the fall it is so beautiful. I also love the cooler weather. Sweater time :P

We live not far from Pennsylvania, so I am wanting to drive up there when the colors are at their peak this year.

Although summer is my favorite season, fall is a close 2nd. I love the warm temps and going to the beach but I almost equally love the changing of the leaves, drinking hot coffee, the fall flavors, halloween and scary movies, Thanksgiving and the holidays in general. I agree with Em Coconut- it's just the feeling of Fall that can't be put exactly into words. Love it! But as soon as the holidays are over I'm ready for summer lol.

I second those emotions!

Comfortable weather, less bothersome insects than in the warmer seasons, and my birthday towards the end

I love pumpkin spice everything. Pumpkin and apple picking hayrides and bonfires at the end. I get my boots sweaters and leggings back. I love seeing the leaves change colors and love taking a drive to see how beautiful they look. Football, Football and more football! Being able to put that crockpot of chili or soup on. Last but not least apple cider and apple cider donuts.
