Questions about spotting before period??
 

Hi, I have been spotting about 1 week from my period (which started on this Monday and my last pill is this Saturday) and I'm worried! I wanted to know if it may be to the changes I am doing to my body? I have changed my diet to a calorie diflict and have been doing high intensity cardio for 5 days a week, I have been on Alesse birth control pill for 3 years now and time it exactly at 9pm every night with out a missed pill!! Do you think it is because I am stressed from this new routine??

Lot of things can effect changes in your menstrual cycle like spotting. For me, when I start a new diet or exercise, I do spot some. If you're still spotting like that after a couple of cycles maybe go see your GYN. I do know that weight loss and eating differently can change the way your medications are absorbed. When I drastically changed my eating habits I could feel side effects(fogginess) with my Zoloft like when I did when i first started it. It went away after a few days. I personally wouldn't worry for the next cycle or two. As long as your getting your PAP every year you should be good.
