What Are You Reading? January 2015

I noticed that there hasn't been a book thread in several months, so I figured I'd start one.

I am reading Dark Places by Gillian Flynn on my tablet, and Julie Garwood's The Bride in traditional book form.

For the time being I'm reading a Game of Thrones graphic novel. They were a Christmas gift and although I haven't read graphic novels or comics for years, I absolutely love them.

Actually just started reading on my phone "Ten days in a madhouse" by Nellie Bly.

Got onto it by a funny on FB called "12 historical women who gave no f***s" and someone on the comment thread recommended it. Out of curiosity I had a look and it is fascinating.

That sounds really interesting.

I am slowly making my way through Les Miserables (on my phone, too, so there's like ~6000 pages lol) Its awesome so far, but I'm already in love with the musical so I'm biased :)

I just found out that Ten days in a Madhouse is being made into a movie - funny as I was thinking about it I thought it would make an awesome movie.

I have read Les Mis twice - once when I was 16 and once more recently - on my phone, which I actually found easier as you could make the text bigger and more spread apart so it was easier to read. In the book it was tiny so I struggled a bit with it.

It's worth it though.

On Being Presbyterian - I forget the author's name

I really liked the first two books in this trilogy and am looking forward to both the show and the last book.

Oh boy I didn't even know it was a trilogy. So much to look forward to!

Bring Up the Bodies is the second book. The third one will apparently be called The Mirror and the Light but I don't think it has a release date yet.
