Password Theory
We all have a million passwords... I read an article a while back the jist of it was that you can use passwords as sort of a positive reinforcement and yourself a positive reminder through out the day. In the article a man was getting divorced and decided he didn't want to be bitter about it. He used the password of "forgiveher" along with a screen background of his ex wife to help him get over it. And he says it helped, a great deal in fact.
I decided to test this out and for the past 2 months my work passwords (which I enter several times a day) have been positive talk about working out and eating well. I can't say that it's made a huge impact, but it certainly has kept the positive thoughts fresh in my mind and that may be a good enough reason to do it.
I just thought I would share this in case it might help someone else, I think it's a good concept. If nothing else it can't hurt and it's helped me to come up with a new "set" of passwords to use instead of variations of the same few over and over.
