yes I am still fat (I used to be skinny & pretty, though)
i'm currently 65 lbs overweight.
my weight gain was caused by stress at the workplace causing me to binge at night.
now I'm back to dieting & indeed it's hard...

BUT
i promised myself that I will enjoy my wedding celebration, even if I'm still overweight
i'm going to wear a plus size wedding dress on my wedding day & I will look damn good & have fun.

so yeah..I'm pretty excited to prepare for the wedding as I still have many things to catch up on my wedding checklist. Will keep you all updated!

Congratulations! Yes, I hope you have a lovely wedding! Your fiance and friends and family still love you, regardless of your current size, so have fun during your wedding.

If the stress is affecting your weight, maybe researching some ways to reduce the stress at work might also help you...

indeed I'm working (babysteps) on how to reduce stress levels at work by being more organized.
I'm glad that my parents also don't fuss about my 65lbs weight gain. My mom knows the work stress I'm dealing with and the long hours commuting.

i'm having a small intimate wedding. People always say that you must be skinny & perfect on your wedding day. But reality is not always like that. Sometimes life happens & you get fat. But, I don't plan on staying fat. I'm on a diet now, doing portion control taking it step by step no crash diets.

being fat is a humbling experience for me. I used to be skinny & quite popular. Plus size wedding dress it is!

I got married at 100 pounds overweight, wearing a size 24 dress, in May 2011.

It was the most amazing day of my life thusfar. (You can see a pic if you want, on my profile).

I felt beautiful, my husband looked perfect, my family and friends were around to celebrate, and it was simply amazing.

I'm sure you will have a similar experience. Congratulations!

I was heavier than I would have liked on my wedding, about the same as I am now 5 months pregnant, but looking back at the photos, I see nothing but a beautiful and happy girl having an amazing day. It's not as big a deal as it might seem. Just enjoy your big day, and I'm sure you won't regret a thing!

there are so many plus size pretty wedding dresses out there! a few of my friends married while being overweight and they looked stunning because they were just so happy and had honest friends or a good taste when picking the dress!

I am sure you will be superhappy and look good, and have a lot of fun planning and having your wedding.

(probably just should not yet buy the dress, who knows, maybe the excitement makes you lose a few pounds here and there. happened to 2 of my friends who then had to have the dress made smaller, which they also loved and celebrated )

I'm just curious why you are no longer pretty? Has something dreadful happened to your face?

Skinny does not equal pretty. Ask ANY guy. Likewise fat does not equal ugly. Remember that
