Opinions on how to word something for an invitation

Hi all,

I am making the invites for my son's bday party. Its next month. Its an outdoor party (hopefully if no rain) anyway our pool is open and I'd like to put something at the bottom that is short and to the point that basically says that the pool is open and people can come dressed to swim if they want but this is not a pool party, its just the option is available.

The last time we had everyone over, the pool was empty and needed a liner change so its not just assumed that our pool is open for the using.

Right now I have "Our pool is open, come dressed to swim if you'd like!" At the bottom. Does that sound ok? I just don't want people feeling like they HAVE to swim. I thought about saying "Bring your swim suits" or "Come dressed in you bathing suits if you want to swim"...

I guess being someone that always dreaded pool parties because of my weight mostly, I want the invite to make it sound like swimming will be an option if its super hot, but not the main activity of the party.

Thanks :)

I think the first wording you came up with does the job just fine! The others you had after would have me wondering if I had to, as they sound more like commands. :) If anything, maybe say "Our pool will also be open, come dressed to swim if you'd like!" I think the "also" helps indicate that it's in addition to, not the mainstay.

Sounds fine to me. Says exactly what you mean. Have fun!
