iFit?...anyone know anything about it? Please help.
 

We just got a new treadmill, since our old one (pushing 10 years!) has had one foot in the grave for a while now.

Our new one comes with iFit capability...but I can't figure out what iFit is.
I've googled it. Its a watch, but its a website...but I can't figure out how to log runs on the website. I downloaded the app, but I am all confused. :(

I currently use iMapmyrun. I can use the app toe track a run outside (I wear my phone), and I can use the app to log a workout, and I can access it from my computer.

Is iFit the same? Do I need the watch thingie?

Wish I could be more help. I tried looking around on Google but it's hard to find information that actually answers questions.

I know a little about it. Some treadmils I think have the iFit built into it and connect directly to iFit. On others you have to buy a device that will allow you to connect. This was from looking at it awhile ago so it could have changed. I decided not to get something with iFit so don't know all the current details.
