It gave me Cape Town, South Africa. Interesting but I still want to live in Hawaii. :cloud9:

Oh I took your quiz and got London what a coincidence! haha :p

I got Los Angeles in the quiz but would really like to move to New York City. I'm a city girl trapped in the body of a small town woman!

CanadianCutie 02-28-2014 11:47 PM

I got Portland on the quiz. I wouldn't mind living in small town Ontario. I live in a fairly large city in Southwestern Ontario, and it's a little too big for my liking.

I took that quiz awhile ago, it told me Paris when I said I loved bread. Then it told me Los Angeles when I changed from bread to something else. I neither want to live in Paris nor Los Angeles (I grew up in San Diego, SoCal isn't where I see myself anymore).

I think there are a lot of important things for me. I'd love to live somewhere with great public transportation system, a place good for hiking, lots of trees and I don't mean Palm trees. I like the seasons and don't mind cold/snow too much but I don't want to live somewhere that is buried under snow for months at a time. I'd also want some place with good cultural diversity and also minimal tourism. We actually have almost all of the things I like where we live, we live far enough outside of DC that we don't get hit by the tourism and soon, I will have a metro train stop near my house (which I can't tell you how excited that makes me).

So yeah, basically, where I'd want to live is basically where I live now but I'd still be open to trying Chania for a few years.

Key West! My husband actually had a job offer there and it looked so awesome but I really can't move away from my Mom and the cost of living there is so expensive! I ultimately want to end up somewhere sunny and warm. I want to be someplace very walkable. White sand and blue water... *sigh*

Key West is a little too touristy for my interests but I loved Key Largo when we went (although I'm not a fan of year round florida)

I also got Cape Town for the quiz. Know nothing about Cape Town, hmmm... time for a visit then!

The little blurb at the end is actually pretty accurate.

I didn't take the quiz, but.

If money was no object.

I would keep my current home, in western Nebraska, I would have one in Lincoln, NE. Go Huskers!

And I would have a place to escape the cold winter.

However, this would depend on having enough money to bring my kids and GRANDKIDS along.

So, I"m staying put.

All in all, I do love my farm!

I got London for the quiz, and I would absolutely love to live there, or NYC or Seattle. I'm from a small town, but I know I would feel more at home in a gorgeous city!

The quiz results say I should live in LA. I wouldn't mind giving it a shot. But in my little own fantasy world, I'd live in Vegas. In reality, I would live somewhere a little less flashy and crazy, but more crazy than the boring small town I actually live in, LOL.

I got Cape Town. Which is...different. Never been there so I can't say how well it fits.

I'm not big on cities though, at all. I live in one of just under 100,000 people and that's about my limit for big city living. In an ideal world I would live the warm half of the year in a cabin on the coast of Lake Superior in the UP of Michigan (preferably in the Keweenaw) and the cold half of the year in a little house on the beach somewhere tropical. I'm thinking Hawaii for the hiking opportunities.

I'd also have a cabin in the Colorado Rockies that I could visit on occasion.

I went there on vacation when I was little. Beautiful place! And RIGHT on the tip of Florida. =P Aw man, there were tourists EVERYWHERE though. So many cameras!
