Life's Too Short! Building a Bridge
 

Hey everyone,

Long story short, my best friend of 23 years and I haven't spoken for 3 years. Nothing super messy happened...just one tough conversation and then a lot of distance.

In that time, we've both grown a lot and we both came to our senses around the same time. I got news this week that my uncle is terminally ill and I just though...damnit, Sarah...life is too short.

I called my best friend up today. We not only chatted...we laughed...we shared...we cried...we apologized. Then our moms called us to say they were right all along. It was honestly a chick-flick type of night.

I feel like a burden has been lifted and another chance has been given for me to be an amazing friend.

So, while we are healing our bodies, we've got to remember to heal ourselves. I'm trying to spring-clean some of the skeletons in my closet and I just thought I'd pass on how good it feels :) Here's hoping you guys get to lift some burdens too. Lord knows you ladies deserve it <3
