What are some of your other favorite websites?
Not necessarily for weight loss, but if they are, then great! I'm just looking to expand some of mine.
skinnytaste.com has amazing recipes that are healthy and easy to make. Best of all, they provide you with calorie counts as well as WW points. It has changed my life. I also like ruelala, hautelook, gilt and myhabit. They have discounted designer clothes, home stuff and knick knacks. I don't buy very much but I just like to look. Etsy is great for out of the box finds made by regular humans. ;) Those are some of my favorites....but 3fatchicks is my absolute favorite! |
There are other websites besides 3FC? :D

I love tripadvisor for travel information! I've found that the hotel reviews on there (that aren't from someone who is disgruntled because they were charged for the towel they stole) have been pretty accurate, along with the restaurant reviews. |
I also love tripadvisor! I end up fantasizing more than anything, but it's a wonderful resource. :)
Oh! I almost forgot....I love yelp for reviews too. |
Im planning a summer trip with my sis in july. I will check that website out.

chowhound.com is good if you are looking for restaurants in other cities when traveling (or reading what is good near you too!). They have recipes and cooking threads too. Just like here, I click on the most recent posts and read whatever is trending. Lots of good info there!

I am a total Pinterest junkie!
|
ugh total tumblr addict!

I waste entirely too much time on Pinterest looking for healthy recipes & other, random stuff (like Doctor Who memes!)
Thegraciouspantry.com has good, healthy recipes if you're into clean eating. Oh and I like Emilybites.com for low-cal recipes. I love thepioneerwoman.com. The Pioneer Woman is Ree Drummond, who has a cooking show, two cookbooks, & a love of writing & photography (two of my own loves). She also has a hot, cattle rancher husband & cute kids. Basically, she's my hero for a lot of reasons. Her website is highly entertaining. :) For hair/makeup stuff I like thebeautydepartment.com, & hdofblog.com. Deviantart.com is fun for art enthusiasts of any kind. When I'm not perusing all those sites, or watching stuff on Netflix, I'm here :D |
Aside from 3FC, the only other side I really lurk around on is Tumblr. If you don't have one, I can't say I recommend it - super addictive!
|
I love Tumblr - I mostly follow TV and Film blogs but I also have a private Tumblr with photos I use for inspiration for my weight loss (mostly gorgeous clothes I want to buy when I hit goal!)
|
if i'm not on here, I read the local and statewide news at:
www.juneauempire.com www.adn.com www.valdezstar.net and sometimes do family history research on a variety of websites, as well as check the local weather forecast...and im on facebook often but I don't have a lot of time for anything else online |
The cheezeburger network (lolcats and the like), I check out Dan Savage's advice column, and my husband and I watch an online webcast every Monday-Friday evening. I will refrain from linking the site because it is a political show and that has no place here.

re:
Call me weird, but I like educational stuff and anything related to human rights and global issues...I find I'm always reading the nytimes opinion writers too.
Stuff like: edx.org coursera.org udacity.com http://www.hrw.org/ I'm pretty in to crazy weather stuff too: http://www.extremeinstability.com/ and of course...funny cats: http://icanhas.cheezburger.com/lolcats Quote:
Trip Advisor is equally awesome. I don't stay anywhere without checking it first. |
Like so many others, I'm a total Pinterest junkie. I also spend way too much time on Sephora.com and Nordstrom.com. I may have a shopping problem...
