Bucket List Accomplishments
 

I'm about to cross something off my bucket list. I'm going to Washington DC to see the monuments and cherry blossoms!

This got me to thinking about the other bucket list items I've been lucky enough to cross off the last few years. I've gone to the symphony, a musical, a play, saw some of my favorite comedians, and have gone on a cruise.

What are some of your bucket list accomplishments?

- Ran a road race (actually, several of them. Numerous 5ks and a 4 miler)
- Traveled to Machu Picchu and the Amazon rain forest
- Finished my masters' degree
- Just got invited to give a presentation at a national conference (on my masters' thesis, so related to the one above)
- Ride the train halfway cross country (Virginia to Illinois)
- Fallen (and stayed!) in love
- Snorkeled in Hawaii
- Gone wine tasting in France
- Learned to tango
- Performed spoken word poetry at a national competition
- Published my writing (creative non-fiction and essay)

Wow! Thanks for starting this thread! It's making me very happy about and grateful for my life.

oh, and PreciousMissy, enjoy the cherry blossoms and the monuments. DC is beautiful in the spring and I'm sure you'll have a great trip!

Wow! Everyone has posted some great things!

I had a blast in Washington. I'm so glad I went! It was #2 on my bucket list. #1 is a trip to Italy.

I need to mentally review my bucket list and see what is left/what else I can add and which task I want to cross off next.
