A Tigers fan! Welcome to Sum38!

So, Rockies were snowed out yesterday, so they plan a doubleheader for today. I thought to myself.... but, it is not going to be a lot better tomorrow! Well, they've been trying to play since 1:10 our time. The FIRST game is now scheduled for 5:10 our time. Gonna be a cold one out there for them!

Some nice tributes to Boston tonight around MLB.

Our game was postponed after 2 innings, thank goodness Westbrook did not look good.

Shannon your Braves are red hot at the moment.

Welcome to Sum38, the more the merrier.

Bargoo I want to see a game in San Francisco, it's on my bucket list.

Diane what awful weather you've been having.

Rockies win the double header! Yay!
They have another game tonight, but snow is again in the forecast. I'm on the other side of the state and we got about 5 inches of snow. It may be another tough night for baseball!!

Clyde, was your game postponed for weather?

Very weird hearing "Sweet Caroline" at Yankee Stadium yesterday, but that was classy!

Meh. That's all I have to say right now.

Well, that, and that even the announcers were blatantly criticizing the strike zone that the umpire was calling, and they normally play it a little closer to the vest.

Meh.

I really hate playing the Pirates especially in Pittsburgh. They always seem to give us fits.

Tigers win with a throw to the plate to get the last out!!! Pena got the winning RBI and got the last out by getting plowed into by the runner and managing to apply the tag and hold on. 2-1 final in 14 innings. 19 strikeouts for the Tigers pitchers and 21 for Seattle pitchers. What a game.

That was one touching tribute. I've got new respect for the Yankee organization.

Rockies snowed out.

Off topic.... what a great thing to see/hear the national anthem at the Bruins hockey game. Gives me chills. Wish that we, as a nation, were always that inspired to sing out our national anthem!

That was very moving hearing them sing the National anthem.

Last day of the regular season the crowd always sings the National Anthem at Busch, that always chokes me up so I can only imagine the emotion last night during the Bruins game.
