I am planning on doing more Agility and obedience training with my dogs, as they love it and i would like to enter compititions, also i love the people there and i know they feel the same way about animals as I do, im really looking forward to it.

My bird has major issues that wont be sorted out easily or quickly unfortuantly - she is a self mutilator - so its a long process of tests, meds, diets, etc.
Vet says its prob going to be a life long problem.

I second this! Unfortunately love can sometimes blind us from seeing the "ills" of others. I hope your birdie gets well soon! One day you will look back and be glad you were able to move on and find someone who truly cares for you (and your birdie!)

I'm so sorry that happened to you  You deserve better and there will be better guys to come. I hope all is well with your bird.

I send you hugs. Am sorry to hear that your bird isn't well and for the break up, better days are coming.

Im new here but I can definitely relate to what you are going through.....I am so sorry to hear what happened but at the same time, look at it as time to focus on you and your "little ones". I am sure your birdie is in great hands with your vet.

I know what its like to go through this, after being with my ex "douchebag" husband for 15 years.....except I took the step to leave him after years of abuse....I finally figured out that it had to do with my appearance and thats why he did what he did. I have now been single for 8 years (technically, we legally separated in 2005, I left in 2007 after I got my money). I am sure you will meet someone when the time is right....thats what I tell myself. So concentrate on you and your babies and things will get better :)

Thanks for your support guys, went to a braai with my friends last night, the four of us barely knew anyone there so the beginning was very awkard, but it was great fun - except all the guys were hitting on me, i couldnt go anywhere in peace - i dont know what was going on, i am not used to all the attention and am def not ready to start looking around, but i must admit it felt nice to be wanted by so many men. Lol!
so looks like my better days are right around the corner.

When someone shows you who he is... Believe him ( the first time). Selfish, self-centered people don't change. Sorry this has happened to you. You will be OK.

Hi,

I support you in this process, and am so sorry you are going through it. I recently got out of a romantic relationship myself and it is painful but sometimes, I believe what doesn't kill you makes you stronger, even though it may not seem that way now.

Stay true to yourself and take care.
