Like many, I first saw him on America's Got Talent back when he first auditioned and thought it would be so fun to see him in person.
The hubby noticed he was on Netflix a few weeks back, so he played the show and told me I could get my fix that way.
But when he watched with me, he was impressed and finally understood why I've been wanting to see him in person! After he looked into buying tickets, he realized that he could earn some from free ones by spending time playing MyVegas.
So tonight we're headed to the Mirage. First we'll have dinner at California Pizza Kitchen, then we're off to see the show. I'm excited for several reasons . . . First off, theater seats will not be an issue! I've had anxieties about theater seating in the past, especially at my highest weight and even when I was only 50 pounds up from now (when we saw Lion King at Mandalay Bay). I know I can concentrate on enjoying the show without worrying about whether or not I'll be comfortable in the seat.
Second, there's no worry about what I'm going to eat while we're out. I typically order a wheat thin veggie pizza from CPK and take half home for the next day's lunch, but because of the show I can't keep leftovers, and I don't want half a pizza to go to waste (or waist). So I'm planning on trying their grilled chicken chimichurri which looks pretty good and is reasonable in calories.
And third, it's Terry Fator!
We've got great seats for the show and didn't have to spend a dime on it. I'm going to pick out a nice outfit, do my hair, and have a memorable night out with the hubby.

I had so much fun last night! We really enjoyed dinner, and one of our relatives even treated us . . .

My legs haven't even been small enough to do that for very long, maybe just in the past month or two. It's also kind of awesome that I don't really feel self-conscious in photos anymore.
It was definitely a night to remember.
