Shiba Inu!

Finally after almost a year of planning and wanting a dog and countless of research on the breed I want. My breeder who has had a litter finally had females, after her last two were all males!

I get to go pick her out April 6, and get her in may :D

Does anyone else own a Shiba Inu?

We have a Shiba Inu- hard to believe he is already 4 going on 5 years old (we're in Canada too - from Lemaitre).

Congrats on your upcoming diva ;) Be prepared for the neverending... "Wow, is that a fox!?!?!?"

Here's our Simba - who is great with our 2 boys (his little brothers, as he was first!)

They look like little bears when pups!

The only downside to a Shiba (IMO) is that they can never, ever be off leash.. I mean NEVER NEVER NEVER. I'm sure your breeder has told you though. Aside from that they are perfect, even if they get attitude at 3-4 years :)
