Life, Making Progress (no matter how terrifying)

  • I just enrolled in college for the upcoming semester. It has been seven years since I have attended school. I work full time, and I have a wedding to plan. I am terrified. I am sure it will all be fine, but until I get adjusted, I am FREAKING OUT! 2012 was a really exciting year as well. My fiancé and I bought a house. I am still adjusting to that Again, it will all be just fine. I started my weight loss journey last September, and I am closing in on my goal. My ticker says 155, but I think I will be going at least another ten pounds. We will see how everything goes! I am excited.
  • Life is all about progress and moving forward! Looks like you have an exciting and busy year ahead. I worked full-time, was a student full time, graduated college and planned a wedding all within the same year (well the graduation and wedding were actually 3 months apart) so I totally understand the amount of time and effort that goes into all that but its DOABLE! Good luck
  • Congrats!! Going to college is quite an accomplishment, and it takes a lot of dedication. At first it will be crazy because all that free time you used to have has vanished. But then, you will learn to manage your time really well and find that you still have time to do the things you want, you just have to think ahead! This also goes for wedding planning don't let it stress you out, just remember that all that matters is your marriage. And as long as people get good food and have some drinks, they won't remember the rest!!
  • Congrats on all the positive changes in your life!
  • what will you be studying in school?
  • Congrats on all the new, positive changes! That's awesome. Enjoy school!
  • Thank you everyone for your positive words. I just hope it's not all too overwhelming. I well be earning an associates degree of arts and science. After that i will transfer to a larger campus to get my bachelors in possibly business. I'm still not sure what i want to be when i grow up, but time is flying by. So, I'll figure it out while I get started!
  • Congrats! It's difficult to go back to school. I know because I'm doing it with a husband and two kids, plus a full time job which is our only income!

It will all work out. Enjoy it and don't stress too much.
