for my hubby. This morning we were talking about our kids(13 & 16), and how I am really stressed :( and out of the blue he says "I know you have been grumpy here lately, are you gonna start your period soon or somethin'" :foot:

Now bless him, he is running a little low on sleep right now and I know he didn't mean it the way it fell out of his mouth but after 17 years of marriage don't you think he would know better? LOL

HAHAHAHAHA, some people really do fulfill the "men say DUMB SH!T with the worst timing" stereotype.

I was a terrible person from age 13 to age 16 and probably stressed my parents out like crazy. Good luck relieving that stress!

Men. If it'll make you feel better, let me tell you a story.

We're renovating our house and we were going through some closets when my DH found his old paintball gun. After I rolled my eyes and told him to put it up on craigslist or freecycle it, he shakes it and then loads the balls into the..I dunno. Paintball thing. Then the idjit points it at me and I give him a look and tell him that he shouldn't be pointing it.

"But baby! It's broken!" he exclaimed before he pulled the trigger. A paintball hit me square in the boob and I went down to the ground (he was about 8 inches away).

Instead of asking me if I was alright, he drops the gun, runs down the hall, grabs his keys and LEAVES before I can get up. Which is good, because I would have hurt him.

He didn't come back for 6 hours. And when he did he had flowers and a video game as a peace offering.

Men. Are. Dumb.

I hate to say it, but half the time I'm stressed and short with my family it IS hormones that are exacerbating it and absolutely necessary for me to evaluate. My husband probably wouldn't say it, but he wouldn't be out of line noticing it before I did :)

Oh I freely admit to severe pms and pmdd. It was just the way he out of the blue popped it out. Like because I might be premenstrual that the kids aren't behaving terribly.

Men just don't have filters. At all. And they ignore the blaring red lights and warning sirens in the back of their heads before they say/do something.

Yeah, as soon as it fell out of his mouth and I turned to look at him, he had that oh crap, deer in the headlights look, lol.

As a man I can verify this is accurate. Unfortunately. :D
