  • Just finishing the 1st book. Have you read it? What did you think? A little dirty? Not that dirty? Too dirty?

I can't be the only woman that wants to talk about this book!!!!
  • They were wonderful books, but honestly by the second book i wanted more of the story then the sex part, or i just didnt want it every other scene! i cant wait for the movies!!!
  • My friend just bought me this book! I'm excited to start, she told me it was amazing.
  • I'm halfway through the third book. I've read dirtier/sexier, but it's a fun read.
  • My wife loved the book...called it "mommy porn"
  • I've read excerpts on the 'net, and wouldn't spend a dime on it.

It's not the subject matter that bothers me, it's the fact that it's so poorly written. The premise is ok, the plot could be better, but the diaglogue is indescribably terrible, abominable...

"My inner goddess is beside herself, hopping from foot to foot."

Oh brother! Doesn't that sound like an 8th grader wrote it?

There are a lot of good erotic novels out there, much better than this one.

I agree 100% "The apex of my thighs..." lol

I agree 1000%. They were TERRIBLE! So repetitive and poorly written. I had to stop after the 2nd book because I couldn't handle it any more. The sex scenes were actually boring after a while.

She really needed a better editor/publishing team.

Yeah, it's pretty bad when she can make a sex scene boring!!

I think the ed/pub needed a better writer - but since it's making so much money, I guess they're both happy....it's us readers who lost out.
  • I totally agree ladies. I am just now finishing the first book. For starters, it really isn't that dirty. I mean, he spanks her. Wooohoooo :-/ Her writing is a bit annoying at times. But, I don't despise it yet. My friends keep telling me that the 2nd book is better, and the 3rd is better than that...

Can you name a few? I'd be interested in reading them...
  • She was never an author, she started out writing fan fiction for Twilight (hence the week women and strong man that's untouchable) and based in Seattle. People liked her fan fiction so much she took it off the web and sold it.

    au·thor/ˈôTHər/
    Noun:
A writer of a book, article, or report.

I think that makes her an author.

Just not a very good one.
  • Alright, dirty little secret. I was dating a pretty meh guy earlier this year. A friend suggested I read the books to help "put me in the mood." because I was not really all that aroused by the guy towards the end of the relationship. We ended up reading it out loud to each other and laughing hysterically. Did nothing for our sex life or relationship but gave us some seriously funny inside jokes that continue to this day even though we've moved on from our romantic relationship and are just friends now.

Titles? Authors? We need this info STAT! Lol!
  • I'm reading the second one now, I'm more into learning about the story and the characters rather than the sex parts.
