I was just wondering if there was a section of the forums for meeting weight-loss buddies (or general friends!) that live close by? Or it is by thread I would just say "Hey, I live near X city and I'm 30, anyone want to meet up to walk" or anything? I know it always sounds so creepy in text form but I was just curious. However, text-based buddies are awesome too!

I've seen people start plenty of threads announcing their home cities and asking if others are nearby. I've also seen them coming from all parts of the forum. Take your pick, it's worth a shot.
