Update on Steve the dog!
 

Hey ladies,
Just wanted to let you know that Steve had her surgery last week! She is doing AMAZING! She has been trying to walk all week, but isn't allowed to yet. She has started her range of motion every day and is going to start her rehabilitation this week. They put pins in both of her legs and we found someone to do the surgery $1500 and we raised almost all of it. Our doctor paid for the rest of it out of pocket because she is planning on adopting her! We are so happy she's doing so well. Thank you all for your support! We are so grateful for everyone who helped us repost her story!

Awwwwww. This is great news. What a sweet dog.

D'aww...is she a chocolate lab? I had labs growing up...Best. Dogs. Ever. Yellow named Lucky, chocolate named Sarah, and currently my parents (well, technically my younger brother, but he's away at college) have a yellow named Scooter. The first two were super smart...Scooter is absolutely adorable, but has the intelligence of a ham sandwich :p

She is indeed a chocolate lab weimaraner mix! She's SO SO sweet and happy!
