So, this friday marked the beginning of the summer movie season with the release of Marvel's The Avengers.

Has anyone else seen this? Our family went to see it twice in one day. once in 3D (midnight showing) then again later that day in 2D. Simply put, fantastic movie. Seriously fantastic!

We're already looking forward to Men In Black III, The Amazing Spider-Man, Batman Dark Knight Rises, Prometheus, Dark Shadows, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter and many more.

So what's on your list?

I saw The Avengers early last week (here in Aus we got it earlier for some reason) and I loved it! It was so awesome, I'm planning on going again next week!

Looking forward to MIB III, too.

I LOVED THE AVENGERS. Then again I'm a sucker for all of those superhero movies. Captain America was my favorite but The Avengers just beat it out because of the sheer amount of awesome packed into one movie.

I'm looking forward to Dark Shadows, Brave and Rock of Ages.

Have tickets for Avengers next week once it calms down. Have my tickets for Prometheus and Snow White and the Huntsman too.
