I want to be thin enough to.....
I want to be thin enough to look hot in these pants....:D Seriously adorable!!
http://a6.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphot...95741199_n.jpg And you? |
Not so much thin enough as young enough, lol :D I love them but have to say that, for me, that particular train has left the station!! :)
|
haha, ok young enough too, Im 31. Would I look ridiculous for being too old? I didnīt think of that.

I'm kind of a believer that some trends can still work on older people, given the right pairings. So, if you're not 20-something and want to wear those pants (which are super cute, btw), I'd wear them with a longer flowy neutral colored simple top and some neutral colored flats. The key is to have only one item that really pops and is form fitting. I'm 41 and would totally rock those pants if I felt think enough. For me, the issue is that I'm a pear shape so I like to wear pants that have a boot cut. No matter how much I enjoy a trend, I always have to analyze how it would fit my body. Based on your photo, I think you could wear those now! You might try an espadrille in a tan color and a longer flowing white top. Go for it!
I would like to be thin enough to wear white jeans. I feel like I'm almost there but just haven't found the perfect pair. I know it sounds strange but I just feel like they'll fit me best when I hit my goal in 2 or 3 lbs. |
I would totally wear them, lovemydoggies! And you, LM - try them with the floaty top and some heals - would look great! Sadly I'm in my mid 40's and not that thin yet either so will give them a miss and aim for the white jeans for summer. Now THAT would be fab as I've always wanted some!

i want to be thin enough to no longer be called chubby/pudgy/fat. i want to be normal for once
|
Thanks for the advise ladies. I think I will go buy them sometime this week, and can post a pic. I agree with a simple top and some ballets.
I also agree with white pants, how awesome would that be?!?! I am not confident enough to try....but have always wanted to..... |
Skinny jeans/pants and ballet flats is my favorite thing in the world to wear. You could totally rock those! ;)
I feel like now I can cosplay! So I need to figure out what costume I want to wear and what convention I'm going to. |
lovemydoggies, I really hope you'll post the photos! Can't wait to see how cute you look! :)
|
Those pants are really cute, and would pair well with a white tunic. :)
|
While those pants are definitely not "my style" - I hope you hit that goal & rock'm girl!!!!
|
I want to be thin enough to chase after my neices and nephew, play with outside without getting winded. I want to not feel like eyes are on me at the gym. I want to go to Great America and not have to worry if I will fit in the rides.
And.......wear anything and everything from Gilly Hicks. ;) But of course the prev mentioned stuff is more important. From Gilly Hicks look book: http://i.imgur.com/EfGij.png http://i.imgur.com/9h4qx.png |
I want to be thin enough not to be embarrassed to go to my kid's school functions. I am mostly there now, but i still have lots to go.

That's my one big fear, that I am gonna be at 120 and still have legs that don't look gooed in tight pants! My legs have always always always been big. And with the muscle I am adding to them from running and soon cycling... -pff.
|
I love those skinny jeans you posted, they'd look so great with a pair of mint green flats. I want to be skinny enough to wear a bathing suit without worrying about how it looks on me. I want to truly enjoy my summer holiday and feel really good about myself, be confident, sunbathe with no shame about revealing my body.
Although I doubt I'll be getting my bikini body ready for this summer, I lost quite a few pounds but I'm definitely not toned enough. |

personally, i hate that knock-kneed skinny-leg look, the one that has supermodels looking like giraffes. |
i want to be thin enough to wear cute little sleeveless sun dresses. :)

And to the OP- awesome pants, go buy a pair and you will rock them! |
I hate to do this, but I'd like to post a reminder about body comments. Just as we wouldn't want someone with skinny legs to say anything negative about more muscular/thicker legs, the same goes for those who have skinny legs...they probably don't appreciate negative comments about their body type. I know no harm was intended but I just thought it would be good to remain sensitive to the fact that we all carry our weight/muscles differently. Hugs to all. No bashing please!!! ;)
|
Of course! I agree, but it is all a matter of what you personally find attractive for yourself. I want muscular legs but that doesn't mean that people with thin legs look bad. I never judge others because I know how it feels to be judged!

So one of you said I should post a pic when I got these pants, so I am. I mentioned a few weeks ago to a co-worker I liked them, but never had the time to buy them. Tonight was my work b-day dinner and she suprised me with them in a size 6. I was really nervous thinking they wouldnt fit, but they are perfect and Iīm going to wear them to work tomorrow. Yay...so cute!
|
You look great in them!!
|
I want to be thin enough for my shallow loser of an ex to see me and think "Crap, I made a huge mistake" and then I can dance away happy. :P
I also want to look good while running (I feel like I look like...well, a fatty running, haha), wearing short shorts, and most importantly, I want to be able to wear a fitted T-shirt without worrying about my stomach! :) |
lovemydoggies......... looking great!!!
For some reason those pants remind me of 90s female rockers, love it! |
I want to be skinny enough to wear revealing or tight fitting clothing and actually look good in it. =) one day ;o
|
A pair of lace up thigh high white stilettos! And not have my feet pounding when I'm done LOL

p.s. OP, love the pants! Congrats on the size 6! :carrot: |
I want to be thin enough to...wear this amazing denim pencil skirt I have been carrying around with me since I gained weight. Then I want to be thin enough that its too big!
|
I honestly think people should just wear whatever the **** they want as long as they're comfortably and truly happy regardless of age. You're young anyway so if you want to wear those trousers with a rainbow t-shirt I think that's great haha :D they are cute.
|
I find this embarrassing for some reason but I want to be thin enough to finally lose the two ugly fat lumps on my hips. I hate them. No matter how much weight I've ever lost they are still there. I've thought about lipo just to get rid of them but I've decided to stay the course and just lose them the old fashion way. I wonder if I'll have to be like 110 lbs to ever see them go!!!
|
I'd like to lose enough fat to see some serious definition in my upper arms and shoulders. I'm getting old enough to have to devote some time to avoiding the batwing syndrome; I want to make it worth my while. If I must have great triceps, well, I wanna see 'em.
|
i want to be thin enough that when my sisters and cousins get rid of their designer clothes i can have them! they always give them to me and i give them to some of my less than fortunate friends. but i have always wished that i could have them for myself for once.
and knee high converse! my calves are way too big to wear any knee high anything! but i have always wanted knee high converse and knee high socks i have my goal pants already, white baseball pants. i always thought they were so cute.... |
