can i chime in on the "writing/general office utensil" addiction? i always want new pens. i even have a favorite type - the papermate profile. it writes so smoothly, it's not too fine, it's got a grip, and it's a clicky pen!

i love to cook for others. if i could have people over for dinner every night i would be so happy. one of the best feelings in the world to me is when someone takes a bite of something i worked hard to make and does that whole "eyes closed in bliss" thing. i imagine it's what an artist feels like when they see someone admiring their work.

i enjoy the satisfaction of completing a jigsaw puzzle, the big ones with lots of pieces. it's a weird thing i'm sure, but it shows that i can make sense of a huge mess if i just work on it long enough.

taking pictures and editing them. i love doing this. i want to take photography classes cause i often see things that make me itch to take pictures, but i have a crappy camera and i'm not so good with the lights and angles and whatnot. but i do love picnik and ipiccy and all those other sites. :)

reading. i read for at least an hour a day. i try to limit it to right before bedtime and i tell myself "no more than 30 pages!" and most of the time it works! i'm a huge fan of paranormal stories, particularly romances. something about the 'not realistic' bend to them that helps me escape, and then the happy ending gives me the warm fuzzies.

Oooooh the things I would do to be on Broadway! Definitely aiming high lol!

I really like this post, since I have been finding my passions all over again:

1) creating- I love to create, sewing & embroidery, DIY projects, games for the kids, trip planning, etc etc. I love to have a finished product that excites me or someone around me

2) advocating- I love working in the non profit industry, and love even more the boards I sit on. Advocating for causes that I strongly believe in makes me feel empowered

3) theater- Immersing myself into the story of a great show, supporting friends on stage, listening to an obc, learning about new shows. I absolutely love it all

4)creating memories This is my loophole to include family in my passion. As a single mom of two, and with an amazing relationship with my parents and siblings, I absolutely love to host events, parties, etc that create long lasting memories for everyone. They can be as simple or as elaborate as any one wants, but I love to have great memories.

5) travel I love to travel and explore, I am a terrible vacationer and a beast of a traveler

6) Disney- corny, right? I love Disney, the culture, the business plan, the dynamic, the entertainment, etc etc etc. I love Disney :)

I think that's it, but I have cut and pasted this and put it in my wallet. Why? So I can remember that the things I am passionate about are very important to keep front and center in my life :)
