I didn't read this whole thread, but I wanted to get in on it because I have a walking dead obsession. i've read the comics through twice. And the novels. I've watched the show all the way through I don't even know how many times.
I run a couple of groups on facebook, and I have a fandom tumblr. I haven't watched sunday's episode yet. I'm trying to wait on the husband, but I'm about to watch it without him. I'm super excited about Abraham. |
I love this show so much!!! I can't wait until Rick finds Carol with Baby Judith! He was soooo wrong for sending her off in the first place, when he killed those guys in the bar. I hope nothing happens to Darryl he's one of my favorite characters lol

Okay I'm going to propose something that will blow your minds!!
Supposedly, when there was the scene of 'someone' dragging the bodies of those that Carol allegedly killed, there is a screenshot of a vague suggestion of another pair of arms...now, we know that the girl Lizzie has PROBLEMS and someone was torturing and killing small animals...we saw what she did to those bunnies!!! :( :( and she was in a fugue state when almost smothering Judith to keep her quiet.... I think that maybe LIzzie killed those sick people; Carol came upon her and helped her with the bodies; and Carol took the blame; and knowing the how awfully troubled Lizzie is, Carol tried to make her way back after being banished to keep an eye on the little sister. I was amazed at the transformation of Michonne when she was goofing with Carl at the table; when she smiled she was so beautiful, as compared to her previous permanent stony and stern expression. I was so shocked and saddened at the flashback of Michonne in her old life (previous show) and showing her son; now, trying to get on a empathetic level with Carl, she has told of her son. And finding that room in the house with the family dead together, omg. I also am not trusting of the 'scientist' who is going to save humankind, but I think I might get to like Abraham. The scene with Rick under the bed was pretty tense! I read that Rick the actor does alot of his own stunts; he did indeed do the stunt of lowering himself/jumping from the roof to the porch; but at the time, Norman Reedus was mooning him from below  |
I do think Lizzie is the one who did it. But, I don't disagree with Rick for sending Carol away. She did admit to doing it (whether she did or not, she did admit to it) and Rick isn't one for killing in his own group unless they are a threat to the safety of the others. Which is why Carol was outted. She was willing (using the term losely since it's looking likely that Lizzie did it.) to kill group members just because they were sick.

I like that Michonne is evolving. It was so sad to see her cry over her own family but it was so nice to see her smiling with Carl.

I enjoy watching the show!! it's very thrilling!!

I love the walking dead, my fiance and I watch it every sunday, though we missed last Sundays!
|
I love this show!!! I have to agree with you Vermontmom, that definitely sounds like something Carol would do. I just want them all to find each other again!!!
|
I love The Walking Dead. I started watching it when it first started and of course had no idea it would become of my fave shows. It's definitely something to watch on a boring Sunday before the work week starts. I can't get enough of The Walking Dead....especially Daryl.
|
I love Daryl too! Just saw that he is going to be on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon tonight!
|
Okay, I know I'm not the only one who freaked out tonight over what Lizzie did. I think I forgot to breathe during that entire scene.
What an incredibly intense episode!!! I loved it. Such difficult choices, but I think as hard as it was, Carole and Tyrese made the right decision. |

Only 2 more episodes of season 4! :cry::cry::cry: |
That was such a shocking and powerful episode!! I loved how Tyrese just looked so shocked and horrified where Carol looked resigned - like she knew in her heart that this would happen. I thought she might have second thoughts, but DANG! she barely hesitated! I felt evil for being so thrilled to see a child killed!!!

I gotta give props to the actress who played Lizzie, Brighton Sharbino, because she was so chilling and convincing as a delusional/threatening child of this environment. Every time she would hold Judith I'd tense up in fear for that poor baby.
The person I feel for most in this episode is Carol. They laid the foundation for this episode so well with her recalling Sophia, and her daughter not having a mean bone in her body. Carol then reflects this to Tyrese about Mika, and so you see early on what these girls mean for Carol. A potential second chance to save "Sophia". Carol finally sees that adapting to this new world might mean survival, but it also means sacrificing hope and love. Such a gripping episode, my favorite one this entire season... and definitely in my top 5 of the whole series. I can't believe there are only two left... I can't wait till October!! Bah! |
