safe to drive?

Guys I went out to dinner tonight and had about 5 small glasses of red wine (VERY bad I know!) Between 7:30 and 10:30 pm. The time is now just after 2am. Will i be okay to drive at around 8:30am? Im 5'4" and about 135 lb. Please reply ASAP so I can go to bed -_- I have work tomorrow.

It depends on a multitude of factors and no one can answer that on the Internet. If you have to ask, take a cab. If you're not sure, take a cab. You may save a life.

IMO you will be fine. It's not like you were taking shots of hard liquor.

By all means though, if you have any doubts in the morning, at the very least call in late.

If in doubt take a cab.

Mm because I'm still a provisional driver my legal limit is zero which is why im asking. If I was fully licensed it'd definitely be fine because the limit would be 0.05. But if I get a reading of even 0.001 I'm in big trouble :(

bargoo 12-10-2011 10:32 AM

Don't drive.

Ruthxxx 12-10-2011 10:32 AM

Take a cab. Don't chance it.

Ok ill get a lift :( even if i feel totally fine when I wake up ?

You will still register alcohol on your system and with a provisional license that's an automatic ding.

When in doubt..>TAKE A CAB :0

If your restrictions are ZERO alcohol - then that's the restriction. It won't matter if you feel fine (don't forget, there are a lot of people who hold their alcohol fairly well, that "feel fine" but end up being over the legal limit even without restrictions on their license), it matters that you're breaking the restriction.

So definitely take a cab :D Best to avoid losing points on your license or getting a fine - or worse!
